Ceramic Fibre

We are one of the largest supplier of Ceramic Fibre Insulation products. We offer a complete range of Ceramic Fibre materials used in various industries like Iron & Steel, Aluminium, Metal Processing, Furnace Building, Power, Ceramics and Chemical Processing.

Ceramic fibre products consist of thermally efficient high temperature insulating materials that combine the advantages of both low heat storage and complete resistance to thermal shock hence offering a broad range of thermal capabilities and physical characteristics, this product family provides proven and effective solutions to a variety of heat processing applications.

Our services include design engineering, material selection, estimation, supply and complete installation support.

Ceramic Fibre Blankets

Fibre Blanket is a refractory fibre needled mat made from fibres. These mats are laid into a continuous mat and then are mechanically needled for added strength. Being Zirconia 0 0 stabilized our blankets are suitable for use upto 1260°C – 1450°C. A wide range of chemistries, densities and thickness are available. Our services include design engineering, material selection, estimation, supply and complete installation support.

We also offer specialized MAFTEC blankets made from pure mullite fibres which can be used in continuous operating temperatures up to 1600°C,under oxidizing, neutral or slightly gas-rich conditions.

Applications

  • Furnace & Kiln linings
  • Removable insulating blankets for steam and gas turbines
  • Flexible high temperature pipe insulation
  • High temperature gasketing
  • Low velocity stack linings
  • Temporary repair of refractory furnace linings

Advantages

  • Excellent Thermal Stability
  • Low Thermal Conductivity
  • Low Shrinkage
  • Excellent Thermal Shock Resistance
  • Low Heat Storage Capacity
  • Excellent Heat Strength
  • Inorganic - Smoke free

Ceramic Fibre Boards & Shapes

These blocks and shapes are obtained by vacuum suction of a mixture of ceramic fibres with organic and mineral binders. These boards and blocks are self supporting with excellent stability at high temperatures, having high resistance to thermal shock, chemical attack and maintain stability at high temperatures.

Applications

  • Back up insulation in refractory construction
  • High temperature ceramic kiln
  • Hot face lining material in furnace building
  • Back up insulation in steel ladles
  • Back up insulation in glass melting furnace

Advantages

  • Excellent insulating performance
  • Excellent thermal stability
  • Low heat storage
  • Resistance to thermal shock

Ceramic Fibre Modules

These fibre modules are a unique solution to high temperature insulation applications such as industrial heaters, boilers and furnaces. We have a wide range of features and specific anchoring systems with their Pyrofold, Saberblock, Z block range These modules combine the insulating material advantages of ceramic fibre with rapid furnace installation. The monolithic fibre is easy to cut and fit around openings and modify in the field. In addition, these modules are lightweight, have low heat storage and provide durable service. Although all three modules have different applications, below are some general applications.

Applications

  • High temperature furnace
  • Kiln and heater linings
  • Bell annealing furnaces
  • Reheat furnace
  • Process heaters lining
  • Soaking pit seals and covers
  • Crude oil heaters lining
  • Shuttle kilns
  • Tunnel kilns
  • Chemical process heaters
  • Ladle pre-heaters

Advantages

  • Faster installation
  • Reduced shrinkage compared to layered lining
  • Low heat storage
  • Superior to thermal stability and shock resistance
  • Individual module mounting enables replacement without disturbing adjacent modules

Ceramic Fibre Paper

High performance paper products are the preferred choice over traditional fibre glass, textile or metal products for thermal, acoustical, or filtration management.

Applications

  • Insulating gaskets
  • Expansion joints
  • Die cut gaskets for domestic appliances
  • Ladle lining backup
  • Induction furnace coil protection
  • Parting media
  • Mould liners
  • Thermocouple insulation and Packing replacement for asbestos paper

Advantages

  • Highly flexible & resilient
  • Good resistance to tearing
  • Uniform thickness & density
  • Resistance to thermal shock
  • Very low thermal conductivity
  • Non-wetted by most molten nonferrous metals including aluminium
